Here's the current sketch challenge at Retrosketches

 

Here's my card

When I saw the sketch, I thought of my gears punch and diamond plating. So I pulled out the diamond plate embossing folder, some metallic paper to create the background. I had some scraps of silver mirror paper to punch out the gears and a hexagon (followed by a circle punch, to create a "nut"). The sentiment is from CTMH Born to Ride stamp set. It's difficult to take a photo of silver mirror paper - here's a bit of a close-up.
