Time Out Challenges #34 - Mid Way Card

Here's my second card for the current challenge at TIME OUT Challenges

Here's the photo inspiration

After my first Guest Designer card was posted, I felt tremendous relief! The pressure was off. I was asked if I'd be interested in submitting a second card for the mid way mark. I loved the colours, so I said yes.

Here's my card

I found this Memory Box stencil at my local craft store and felt it was perfect for this challenge. I used distress inks - spiced marmalade, picked raspberry and worn lipstick.

I used a Papertrey ink thank you die to finish off the card.

Thank you for visiting and a big thank you to Time Out Challenges for this awesome opportunity to Guest Design.

  1. I don't see your card here, but I saw it on the TO blog and thought it was very pretty! Love the colors you chose and the stencil as well. Thank for joining us this time around at Time Out!

    1. Thank you for the heads up. I've added my card now!

  2. Brilliant, Sue ... deliciously crisp and CAS ... you've captured the inspiration photo beautifully ... love it! Delighted you joined us as Guest Designer again at Time Out! Anita :)

  3. Love the way you have incorporated the colours along with the crisp chevrons and bold sentiment - great take on the inspiration photo, Sue! Thanks for being a great GD over at TO :)

  4. Your so right, that stencil was perfect and you've coloured the pattern beautifully. Love the die in black too, really pops against that bright background. So lovely to have had you with us for this challenge and hope you keep playing with us!!!!
